Nikon Users!

Hi Paddy.
I have had a Nikon D60 for a number of years now. The one piece of advice that I can give, is be aware that all the different setting you might use in the Aperture Priority, Shutter Priority and Manual, such as ISO, exposure compensation and the like, will still be in effect when you use the built in functions such as sport, macro and the like.

So if you get unexpected results when using these built in modes, go back and check the settings.

Other than that, you have got a cracking camera that will serve you well over the years.

I just purchased my first D60 and I am in love!

Started with a Coolpix P & S then progressed to a D200.
Now using D300 and Coolpix P6000.

I just got my first ever Nikon about a month ago and love it! It is the D40, but one day I'd love a D300 or something similar.

Well had my own FE2, and an FG years ago before moving to Canon AE1P, A1 and T90 years ago but used an FM, FM2 and an F3 at work before they moved to D100 and D300 which I use...then bought Grant's D70s and then a D300 which is spot on. D700 next I guess...sometime.

New to Nikon, but now got a D300 and itchiing to see how it performs.
