About me

My name is Mark, I’m nineteen years of age, a resident of Switzerland, an American by passport, and a Brit by choice. A few years ago I became interested in photography, and invested in what was then an exciting purchase, a Lumix FZ-30. This camera did me well, but I eventually grew tired of having a single stock lens, and chose to head into the open and throw myself in on the deep end last year and throw a big wodge of cash at a Nikon D300 and then several lenses for it. Needless to say, since those early days of photography, my output volume and image quality has increased by amazing amounts. That being said, I felt that the quantity of output called for another output; one more internet based – I want to get my photography, my creations, my snapshots of life out there for all to see. I am semi-seriously considering integrating my photography into my life as part of a vocation, so it is important that I start now.

I am a nature photographer by trade, but I will not turn down an opportunity to capture a beautiful or unique person or sight on digital film. My ultimate vocation would probably be nature photographer for National Geographic, and though I know it’s not likely anytime soon, it remains something that I can strive towards in order to better my photography.
