i had that problem with a jessops flash gun i bought aswell, took it back they replaced it and no problems since.

Ok, just got back and decided to stick with what i had. Its guaranteed for 2 yrs anyway

I have a flash gun that I don't use anywhere near enough - I should really start to use it more.
