Nice work, some good light there. I think loosing a touch off the bottom strengthens it, not really adding much the bottom left section.

In regard to the border, they don't bother me either way however is there some texture coming through in the background as some thing a little odd in the misty portion that looks like the texture from the border?

Lovely light and depth to this one Bob - well done.

As for the border - I guess it's a personal thing. I tend to just look at the photograph anyway so can take it or leave it.
