am hoping to see them in Gambia with any luck! 
I can name quite a lot of the birds you've posted - you're not likely to find them in any of the more normal bird books, you'd need more specific bird guides for other countries/continents. For example, I suspect a few would turn up in our birds of Western Africa books, and our birds of India perhaps I am slowly building my bird book collection... not sure how many I've got, but my ID guides for other countries are woefully under-represented!
