I ran into a camera snob on a Nikon forum who was aghast that I would own anything but Nikon lenses. My Tokina 11-16 F/2.8 DX outperforms any Nikon lens for hundreds of dollars less than the closest Nikon equivalent. I told him the photos speak for themselves. He got huffy and full of himself. He uses a D5000 and his portfolio is full of snapshot photos.
