Re: Complaints letter

Ok, right then...

Iv now been in touch with paypal and it turns out that due to my complaint that i filed against them, they have decided to freeze this companies account. I was told its likely that this company can see that i have paid but cannot access anything on their account. She rekons they have claimed that i have not paid, to save embarassment!!!

Its just a case of going through the motions with PayPal now - so it could take a month before i get my money back!

Well at least my @se is covered if i need to take things to court. Trading standards have a record of the incident, PayPal, and i also have my corrispondence from/to them.....

Re: Complaints letter

It seems so silly!! they could have avoided all this in the first place by not only keeping their website up to date, and refunding your money!!

Re: Complaints letter

Sounds great K

I would however be inclined to change to this:

Quote:
Nearly an hour later I was sent my original order confirmation form. Not once but twice, within the hour. At this point I contacted the manager. He was extremely rude and unhelpful, and proceeded to argue the matter with me for half an hour. He continually talked over me, persistently refused to listen and at one point he hung up on me.
Go get em!!

Nikon 55-200mm VR

Re: Complaints letter

Hi K :o)

A superbly constructed letter. If they don't respond properly to that you could also try contacting the local Trading Standards office. The people who run the Cheshire branch love to get their teeth into companies like that, and successful prosecutions are a good career move for them! If you really want to get 'em going, send it all to BBC Watchdog too LOL!

Hey I love that shooting smiley above!!
Kit 1

Re: Complaints letter

I have also had a problem with these people. On 3rd December I ordered a backdrop with lights etc and did not recieve my order for 2 weeks. When it did turn up the backdrop was not there. I have phoned them about 10 times since then, they keep saying it was out of stock, but promising a time it will come by. It has shown as in stock on the website all of this time. They have three times said the UK call centre will call back and they haven't. They are continually rude and talk over me. They have offered me a 5% discount next time, but I will never be using them again so this is no good. Last week they agreed if it wasn't here by tues then I could have a refund, but today wouldn't even talk to me. I don't really want to send the rest back though. Does anyone know my rights in this situation?

Re: Complaints letter

Why not post the name of the company so others on here will not trade with them.
