I think they are just abberations (?) 'crud' in the image, I'm sure you couldn't resolve craters at such a distance and magnification... you would need the Hubble in your back yard surely?

I could nip out now (as that object is clear) and use 400mm L with 2X converter at 1.6 crop = 1280mm
Crop could give a bigger pic but I doubt I could get that.

I told you it is Jupiter. The image you took of it looks like it has not been focussed correctly and that is proablly the reason why it is appearing so large (out of focus) and with those little circles all over it.

Looking at my camera screen (just took some) it's HUGE compared to mine.
It's like a bokeh planet ?

clouds came in - shot the moon.
