Some shots

I don't normally take shots of architecture but captured these three when on holiday:

I thought I would just post this last one although it was a complete fluke

I was standing next to the railway line photographing the scenery when I heard the train behind me. I turned around to take the shot forgetting I had previously been using the timer. When it started to count down I realised and zoomed out hoping that the train wouldn't be past us by the time the camera fired so I must have been zooming out when the photo was taken (hence the zoom blur) - not a great shot but the effect was interesting

Re: Some shots

Love the church, may be it has something to do with my age but I find I am very interested in churchyards. Like the bridge too, like iron work and bridges are in most part so well balanced in design.

Now the train shot is amazing and you could have spent all day trying to do that.

Pentax 12-24mm

Re: Some shots

The church and the bridge are great shots, but I just adore the last one like Snapper said you could of sat there for ages trying to get that shot. How lucky are you it is fantastic, I 've never seen anything like it.

Re: Some shots

Thanks all

I rather liked the train shot too - mostly for it's novelty value. It is like a radial blur effect, except for the fact it was completely unintentional

Azz - I like the second shot too. That particular photo was shot at 10mm and the one above at 22mm, showing the range of one of my lenses
