Kai - Fs 720

This is my buddy Kai Robin throwing down a Fs 7 Truck Driver at Folgefonna, Norway in July, 2008.

Haven't been shooting for a while now, so just browsing through all my old photos for something to edit. And I think this shot was alright. Can't wait for the snow to start falling again!

Sorry but I can't make out what that object is in the sky, If it was just a scene shot then it would be ok. Don't think it would be too hard to edit out that red/black which distracts the overall picture.

By they way what on earth does " throwing down a Fs 7 Truck Driver " mean ???

No offence Bazza, but I would have to agree. Given that Tommy is a frequent poster here, I find it hard to believe you wouldn't have put 2+2 together to deduce what it is, even if a little obscured in your opinion. Not to mention it being in the sports section.

It took me a while to figure it out as well....glad Im not the only one.....

I Also have no idea what the phrase means either - I'll join the Dumb club too!

it does matter how frequently someone posts, if you have to deduce what a picture is or what its about then its a poor picture.

As you well know I speak as I find, and refuse to say things like " its a nice picture" when clearly it is very poor when fails to show what was intended

Yor comments about quote " this may be the dumbest thing I've ever heard.. " I feel is rather a rude reply and to a straight foreward question. It may be the way you talk where you live. If one has to try and guess what is happening, as in this picture, then I would respectily suggest you go and take a course in photography and learn about a picture being self explainatory.
You obviously also don't have a clue about what you are saying or you would have been able to explain your statement " " throwing down a Fs 7 Truck Driver ". I suspect it is some term or other you heard and don't know what it means.

Remember some of us have absolutely no knowledge about any snow sport let alone participated . It may well be common where you live but not for those elsewhere.

The trick is called a Fs 720 (720 degree rotation) and when you grab your board with both hands like that it's called a Truck Driver

And Bazza, I seriously think you're straight out dumb if you can't figure out what's going on in this picture. I don't see how it could be more obvious.. I've never before heard that someone can't figure out what's going on in this picture, or any other picture of mine, so I really think that you're the one with a problem, not the picture. Another picture of mine, almost identical to this one, won "Picture of the year" in Norway's biggest board sports magazine by the way.. Just saying..
