Which one has been sharpened?

Number 2? Did you use unsharp mask or just sharpen it?

The file size is the same on both - usually the file size of a sharpened image will be bigger than it's non-sharpened counterpart. You're either asking us a trick question or didn't sharpen it much

I agree. The difference is the fence is lighter on second which is also a symptom in certain conditions. Not to worry I'll delete the unsharp mask thread later. Just disregard my comments.

2 but not a lot,it would be good to hear how others sharpen and how as us beginners would not know where to start,if grumps had not have started the unmask thread i would most likely still be in helicon filter sharpening pictures,as now i am trying more bits in elements 7,great postings and info on here great forum great people

Number one was the one that was sharpened.

Azz was the only one who got it right.
