Re: Bloodhound

Wonderful dogs, and they do an amazing job Such a soulful face .

On the right hand side , you might want to blend the area around his eye, as there seems to be an unnatural edge. But, the actual face is lovely and sharp, and you've captured the soulful face perfectly.

I think they are a great breed of dog, they seem really popular here, every time I meet one, I fall in love with the breed a little bit more I even like the baying sounds, they make

I'm sorry Suz, I went back into CS4 and enlarged the eye area greatly but cannot see the unnatural edge you mentioned. I didn't do any post processing in that area.

Re: Bloodhound

Gorgeous dog!
I agree that there are a couple of bits missed in editing - the upper left area of his profile and a random triangle near the centre of the shot, but they are easy fixes.
Its going to be a great image.

Re: Bloodhound

Missed this one Bob - It's a cracker.

There's a sort of milky cloudy area just above the dog's head but it doesn't really detract from a great shot of a lovely dog.

The exposure looks spot on - capturing all the detail and textures in those big floppy folds.
