Nikon AF-S 10-24mm f3.5-4.5 ED Lens
Planning to add the above lens to my kit, any thoughts and opinions would be appreciated.

Can I suggest you consider the 12-24mm 1.4 G ED DX SWM IF lens as well. The price is almost identical from what I have quicly researched give or take around £100.
Ok you may forfeit 2mm at the short end but the gain in f stops is well worth the sacrifice.
This particular lens is amazing for rooms and low light shots and I can recommend it. You are most welcome to pay a visit and try out my lens before making any decision.
Had a bit of a shock the price from when I bought mine in 2007 has gone up by nearly £300

Hey Jeff, might be worth looking at the Sigma 10-20 f4-5.6 EX DC too.. it seems to be a popular choice

Thanks for the link Azz, there are certainly some impressive pictures, I wonder how the Sigma compares to the Nikkor 10-24

Just done a measurement check . At the 12mm setting it covers just over 95ft width taken from 52ft away. thats with the Nikon 12-24mm lens.

I have the Sigma 10 -20, it's awesome, sadly selling mine though, to fund other camera equipment 
Not a reflection on the lens, it's just I can't justify keeping it for the occasional landscape or building
