Ooh That's nice
The 'blurr' of the wings looked slightly odd as the 'edges' were very sharp against that black background.
I'm rubbish at birds (so by all means tell me to shut up) but in this one the movement of the wings makes for a much more pleasing shot regarless of the backrgound

I love the original - but shame about the setting, which is (I assume) why you put it on a new background as per the first image, but it looks a little forced to me... which is a shame. Doesn't detract from the fact that the owl itself is gorgoeus though, and your shot superb. Perhaps try a different background? Maybe one that doesn't look so... erm, unrealistic when the owl is there? Have you a good dark sunset for example?
