Just received a remote wired shutter release which has timer delay -interval timer etc etc and the cost? about £32 including batteries. The product is made by a company called YongNu but purchased in the UK. The equivalent product by Nikon retails for up to £150 although I have seen it advertised on you know what for £99 + import duty and VAT.
So what are my impressions of this cheaper version? Well not having had a hands on with the Nikon one I can't do a comparison, but what I can say is the built quality is excellent does everything the Nikon one does and the instruction book comes written in Chinese/English only.
At the moment I cannot see how Nikon can justify the price they are charging when I can purchase at least 4 or 5 by another company which does the same job at the same price.
