Wonderful series of shots Melody, they are fab skies.
I would love to have no2 or 5 hanging on my wall
Never been to Lincolnshire, I suppose it is a straight drive across for me, might have to do a day trip and take some sky shots, and the little churches

Brilliant skies Melody - do you use a polariser at all?
I think the B&W pic is top class stuff.
Could you adjust the levels to the lower half of picture 4 to increase the dynamic range of the foreground?

Did you know big skies is Gods way of apologising for giving you flat land ?
Love the perspective of the sky in number 4 (little fluffy clouds) and also the last one of the rain.

Looks familiar to me Mel, my OH loves the big skies, me I prefer trees. Lovely shots and can confirm true to life.
Thing is folks only southern Lincolnshire is flat, South Holland where Mel and I live, go to Lincoln or Gainsborough and there are some big hills, the cathedral is built on the top of one.
