Common Characters.

Quite common species are often good subjects.

Coming to visit your gardens this winter.

Re: Common Characters.

Thanks Lost, perhaps the Chaffy is not a regular garden visitori usually see them round picnic tables and feeding stations, and i think the mild weather is keeping the Blue tits in natural habitat.

regards brian.

Re: Common Characters.

Hopefully a few more species that used to be seen down here in the south will head back our way again one day, there is a very small percentage of our feathered friends living down south now with a lot of their natural habitats disappearing, and more set to disappear along with other wildlife once HS2 is completed.

Re: Common Characters.

The Tree Sparrow was posted elsewhere, and loads of people said they had not seen one for years. Many birds now in decline, yet Little Egret, Spoonbill, and Avocet are now regular sights, once they attracted a good twitch.

Re: Common Characters.

Lovely stuff Brian.

I think the Blue Tit is my favourite due to the background but the Sparrow is very nice too.

Re: Common Characters.

Cheers Owen and Phil, i mainly feed a population of House spuggies and collared doves now, as most people round my way have low maintenance gardens, many are paved for car ports.
