It's been way too long since I posted any pictures!
Thought I'd start with this one for now. Really interested to know what your comments
This is a lilly that was part of a bouquet my daughter received, I like the colour of the flower so thought I'd have a little play to see what I could come up with. It's taken with natural light and just a black fabric background
7d with 100mm macro IS, done in manual mode and manual focusing, I set my camera to shoot in both jpeg and RAW

I bet if you were to enter this image in an inter club competition it would be rated 20 out of 20. I was really impressed with this shot.

As Greenie already mentioned, this image did score full marks in a inter-club competition, I'm not sure it was the best picture there though!
I really wanted some feed back, good or bad, it's all been good so far, so I guess I should be pleased
I must stop lurking in the background and try and post more pictures, I do love this group!

I have to say that the image size here doesn't do this justice. I had the pleasure of seeing this as a projected image in a club competition. The image was projected at 5 foot x 5 foot and was awesome. Amazing colour, lighting, detail and sharpness. It was the best image of the competition IMHO.
