what case to use if flying?
First of all there is no way would I let my camera stuff be thrown into an aeroplane hold even if using a Peli case. The risk of damage or possibly stolen is too great. So I prefer to use a camera bag that is acceptable to go in the aircraft cabin
So I use my trusty Tamrac System 6 bag. Its below the size limit for cabin use but hold my camera with grip, a couple of lenses and both my Camcorders. That is not including spare batteries memory cards and other bits and pieces for camera cleaning. Anyway that what I load into it. This bag has been to the USA twice -China-Egypt-Brazil and on a med cruise. Its still as good as the day I bought it, no shoulder strap break even with the weight it has carried, zips and clips still as good as ever.
So if looking for something to use when travelling maybe this is the bag to use. It may well have been replaced with a newer version now as I purchased it some years ago.
