Fountains Abbey

NS, I really like the way the scale of the building is illustrated by the tiny figures at the botton. I would clone out the tree branch at the top left of the picture, this would improve the balance, and apply a little sharpening as the image looks a touch soft on my screen.

Taking photos of tall buildings is not easy to get the appearance right, the tower looks to be leaning to the right, maybe straightening the tower at the expense of the uprights of the right hand arch may be an acceptable compromise.

Just my view.

I was trying to work out if there was a lean or if was an effect because of the slope. It is certainly nice and square at the bottom.
I agree that getting rid of the top of the tree would be good then maybe a touch more contrast.

Good composition but lacking in contrast and way too grey. Did you use the option of turning it to a grey scale rather than giving this a really good mono edit?
