But on price! 
Just wondering how much of a difference there is, especially in lens - this is my wish list - add yours too and see how they compare.

I am actually quite surprised, I thought Canon was going to be cheaper

Joking aside - the new mark II Canon 70-200 f2.8 are pretty expensive. That said there's a lot of used mark I versions kicking about now and they're fantastic.
Lucky old me has been given this for my next trip to the Ospreys.....

Azz you havn't said where you got you comparisons from?
For example you could look at a lens from the most expensive retailer against a retailer selling at the cheapest end selling the same item
Jacobs selling a Nikon 50mm f1.4G from Jacobs is £287.99, yet from Kinglsey Photographic £330.
