Green Woodpecker
I often have several green woodpeckers visit the garden and last year one actually nested in one of the oak trees, yet i am still finding it hard to get a decent picture of them, here he is digging in the snow, as he dug he was going up and down, so 95% of the shots was like this
and a couple like this
But the light was so bad, i used a high ISO and so I'm not pleased with the quality

Very shy birds up my way Kay, seem different on my visits South. First time ive seen one in the snow.
