These are very pretty, though I think perhaps the reds all bleed together a bit much for me? I can't see any real definition between the flowerheads.

Hi Bob, definitely some slight red over saturation, some of the detail has been lost in the petals. But a wonderful plant non the less also love the creamy soft background.

I certainly agree with you both that a lot of detail was lost on this shot. Red is such a difficult color to photograph with flowers. Thanks for your comments.

I find reds the hardest color to keep under control with the Canon Bob.
