wedding slideshow!

hello again folks! I've been away for a while, busy working, Mrs Finney having our 4th little Finney!!!!! but I'm back now! I've put a slideshow of a recent wedding on youtube and I would love to hear your comments and if you think it works or not!! thanks folks x

I like it, although for some reason the clip was not smooth and the loading icon popped up a few times, but this could have been the time of day and internet speed.

The slide timings are spot on for me too.

As you are broadcasting the music on You Tube I would be concerned that the Performing Rights Society would take serous interest if your not registered with them and pay their fees. (different if you produced and owned the copyrights to the music)

Yes I know what your thinking but they approached us to find out if we were broadcasting (even playing the radio) when clients came or even for staff so they would have entertainment. I told them they were being absolutely stupid as I didn't know I had to pay any fees for the dogs boarding with us to listen to music, and clients didn't spend all day here only to bring in and pick up. They said I didn't need a licence for playing music to animals, How thick can they get when they ring an animal boarding establishment .

Thats the reason I bought up the subject incase they decided to fine or take
legal action.


Maybe its something Azz should consider as its being broadcast on this site as well.

Only tried doing this once several years ago, so im no expert, is this for your own record of the event of for the couple in the wedding. ?

looks like youve done the candid photos of the wedding, i actually prefer theses to the formal shots if so they seem a fine record of the day. How do those at the wedding find them ?

Mossy I do tend to lean more toward the Reportage style. I think it gives a better record of the day. Although I do include a few group/formal shots too, but try to keep them to a minimum. The couple are over the moon with the photos and the slide show, which makes me very happy! lol and relieved!

I think you have done a cracking job. Weddings can be a real nightmare to get right, and getting a good position to get the candid shots is often very difficult. Love the soundtrack too, who is it? Well done.
