Lovely shots - have to say I like 4) in that it really made me smile - there's a real 'what you staring at' expression on her face

Some lovely ones there. A touch of contrast may help them "pop" a bit. Love the first one and the wee Widgeon.

I'd already played about with the contrast and levels etc - unfortunately, there's no getting away from the fact that it was a really grim day with awful awful light and if I push too much, they were just ending up with blown highlights

Very happy with the Wigeon though! And I like the second Tree Sparrow a lot too

They look very much the same as the ones on my PC I think - comparing them to the ones I uploaded definitely better. Could be an uploading issue? The ones on the computer look far more like the ones you posted (I do think the Tree Sparrow one is better )
