Jack The Cat

I get to Cat sit Jack when my friend, Warren, is out of town. This past occasion I made sure to take along my camera. I wanted to try out my new super wide angle Tokina 11-16mm F/2.8 zoom. Jack cooperated by lying on the carpet and wiggling toward me. I suspect he saw his reflection in the lens. Picture where I had to be to get this shot.

Hehe - he's lovely! Images are quite noisy though? Looks like high ISO due to darker room?

I'm not normally a big fan of 'frames' but I like how his chin in breaking though on this one.

Having lost Chippy, Bramble and my 'Top Cat' Murphy over the last wee while - I do wish I'd paid them a bit more attention photography wise.

I made no attempt to reduce noise as with the earth tones of the background and Jack I feel add to the picture. It was shot at 1600 ISO. As usual, if you put your nose right up to the monitor you might see some grain. Properly viewed at arm's length it's not visible on my iMac's high resolution 21.5" monitor.
