Contest Pow Wow
I made it to the Pow Wow today even though it sprinkled on me for the drive there. We've had two very hot days of 102 & 98 prior to today which was 75. Welcome to the Pacific Northwest. The Indian gathering was a collection of many Pacific tribes competing in campfire dance. The costumes were colorful and the participants very enthusiastic. There was no charge for the viewers. We had an overcast day which made the lighting perfect. I wore myself out walking the grounds looking for the most colorful people. There were plenty to choose from. Here are a few.
