I thought I'd share a few pictures I took this week and let you see how the weather is (hehehe)
This is the temple of Apollo - I pass it everyday going to work and back. Shame eh.
This is the courtyard of the Kaserna in (Northern) Nicosia - it's where the Whirling Dervishes do their thang!
These are the Episkopi cliffs at Curium - would you believe I have to sit and stare at that sea from my office every day!!!
This was a small village where gladiators and contestants stayed just up the road from the Arena at Curium - again I pass this everyday on my way to work. The huge urns are still used to store wine in the mountain villages.
The cliffs at curium inviting you to just dive right in!
Who lives in a house like this!?! My guess is it was a rich merchant or one of the bosses who used to organise the Grecian games in the arena.
I often stop and sit on the cliffs overlooking the sea here on my way home from work. This is my local beach about 5 minutes from my house. Yes - the sea really is that colour!
I hope you enjoyed the whistle-stop tour!
