Thats REALLY nice. Some may say the lighting is harsh, but there is no definition lost at all, love it!

That is a superb capture. Don't overly worry about the window and lighting aspects at the moment - keep concentrating on the actual composition.
With very little editing you can present this picture really well.
All I did was remove the window, remove some distracting artifacts, cropped the image closer into their gorgeous faces, lifted the colour slightly, added contrast and clarity to the eyes, burnt the shadows in at the bottom to provide a little more definition and dodged up the brightness in the top left of the picture. It might sound a lot, but it was literally 5 mins in CS3.

Nice shot.
I quite like the lighting and I love their worried little expressions.
I like the edit also Jack. It's certainly 'punchier' and the background is a lot cleaner although there's a greenish tint starting to creep into the saturation.

Aw what a great capture , I love the lighting actually, and as Phil said, their slightly concerned expressions
