Prints and mounts
Is anyone mounting their prints and using a mount cutter?
Now i have rejoined a photo club, intend to have a go at one or two exhibitions/competitions and prints have to be mounted. I intend to get some fibre board and have a go at cutting mounts with the 90 and 45 ' edges.
Anyone doing this? if so, what cutting kit are you using? Any tips?

Good luck! When I was with Morriston, there was an evening dedicated to tutorials on cutting - perhaps request similar with your new club? 
It meant that some people brought their stuff in so you could have a go, and see what you thought of it!

I'm bad, I bought some ready cut
They were not that expensive either, Come in packs of 25, for the smallest up to single for bigger prints.They have a acid free backing board,archival tape, and a poly bag for each mat.
Have used them for the same reason, photography group, and exhibition work.

I was going to suggest ready made ones too - unless you do so many you can justify the cost of a cutter like the on Jeff posted.

Yep, will have a look at the ready made ones and compare cost. I can only imagine they are not as flexible as doing your own. I noticed some mounts were cut to the size of print...and format e.g square etc. need to visit the local shop.
The cutters seem expensive for what they are. £175 approx for the one Jeff has... really don't know how they justify such a price. The kits can be had for around £10, and one or two in the club suggested £25. I can only imagine the expensive kits are more versatile and make it easier or automate it in some way.
