Heron in flight
Got this shot of a Heron from outside my backdoor today, he is a regular visitor to the marsh area beyond the garden.
I was actually watching a Buzzard perched on a telephone pole getting dive bombed by some crows, (he hardly batted an eyelid) he then took off and a few minutes later I heard this really loud screetching noise from this Heron which flew in my direction and I got this shot. I can only imagine that the Buzzard tried to steal his food or just startled him by landing to close, I doubt the Buzzard would have tried to attack the Heron.
I was not very thrilled with the few images I got of the Heron and actually did not think they would have been exposed properly as I had adjusted my EC for the Buzzard. I think this one was not to bad.
