Re: One bench, three versions......

I very much like the treatment you have given to the middle bench. It is sharper, more vibrant and a neat idea to pop out the bronzes and orange hues - all in all it works the best out of all three - because you have done something different with it. Well done.

Re: One bench, three versions......

I like the middle one best too. Somehow I don't like the bench much though, I have no idea why but I love rustic and broken benches but posh, well cared for ones leave me cold. Well shot though and some interesting treatments, the sort of shot that lets you play with it for ages.

Re: One bench, three versions......

We have some real horrors around here, the ends and backs are made from cut metal and painted in bright and different colours, they resemble something from a children's playground and not, to my eyes, the least bit tasteful or complementary to the street scene.

Mind you in Spalding there is a very ugly tower type building (bus station I think) and it is rendered concrete painted pink with huge red tulips on it, tasteful, don't make me laugh. Now there are some beautiful building and river views in Spalding and what makes some daft local council think bright painted metal and huge pink building are attractive I have no idea.
