Just bought this.....

I have been looking for a point and shoot camera at around the £100 mark for my daughters birthday. I have decided to go with this...

I wanted to stay with Canon as we already have all the cables, chargers and software etc. i have also had great experience of the Ixus range. My daughter wanted a pink camera and I think this fits all the criteria......I might even borry it sometmes!

I think this is a good price for it but if anyone sees it cheaper let me know as I can cancel the order within the next fortnight.

It has good reviews and has IS and face recognition too. It will also take video which I am sure she will use when she is with her mates.

She borrowed my IXUS when we were in Delamere forest one day and loved taking photos so I am hoping we can do some together.

How old is she fudge?

I just got my six year old a nikon L10 and he loves it.

It is really nice going out and about with us both armed with our cameras.

She will be thirteen.

Thanks Azz, their cheapest postage is £5 so takes it close to Amazon. I have used Amazon return service and it is good so I will stick with them I think for the difference.Thanks for looking though! Have you used that site before?
