Sasha

I don't use my Canon 70-200 very often but when I do, I always wonder why not. It is amazingly sharp wide open at f2.8 and the shallow DOF is very thin.

Shot @ 200mm, f2.8:

Kit 1
1DSmkIII & 1DmkIV
Canon EF70-200L f/2.8 IS
Canon EF100L macro f/2.8 IS
Canon EF85L f/1.2 mkII
Canon EF24-105L f/4 IS
Canon EF300L f/2.8 IS
Canon EF17-40L f/4

Re: Sasha

A great lens indeed Ken, must admit mine does not get the used that much as i find it a tad on the heavy side. This must be seen large to appreciate the DOF.

Re: Sasha

Very nice indeed Ken. Love the way the body fades out of focus.

Thanks Brian, I think the weight is a contributing factor plus it is large and shouts attention when out and about with it.

Thanks Suzie, It was a very rare moment of sunshine in the back garden that just makes you want to take pictures.

Thanks Richard, that's one of the main things I like about it too.
