Guess what I'm getting tomorrow?
A new camera!!!
I'm off to get a 550D tomorrow.
Not exactly what I wanted as I really really wanted the 7D, but our local Jessops are reducing the first 5 550Ds they sell each day this weekend from £759 to £599. Plus you can get £50 cashback from canon. Plus I have a few hundred quid of Jessops vouchers. Plus I really can't afford or justify the expense of the 7D.
So the 550 it is and I'll be there at 9am waiting for them to open, and if there are more than 4 people in front of me I'll have my secret lethal weapons with me (several small children) to get rid of them for me!!!

That's a pretty neat price too - cheapest I've seen is £633 at Warehouse Express. Bet you can't wait!

My son (age 9) is such a camera snob already.
I thought he'd be excited, but his comment was 'Why are you getting a 550d? Thats an amateur's camera!'
