First Trip
Went along to my local nature reserve during the week. Would you believe, it's been in existance for almost nine years and this was my first trip. Decided to travel light and only took the Sigma 105mm macro to try my hand with the Dragonflies. Big mistake. It turned out very dull and only saw one of the critters flying. Sheltering in of the hides from a passing shower I did manage to grab this as it galloped past.

Lucky picture, nice to see it. Looks a bit blue-ish to me and lacking in colour 'depth' but great to get the picture.

Interesting shot, look at the power in that back, well captured and sharp but it has an overall cast, is it the reflection from a blue car by any chance?

Hi Gaz, The reserve is located in Rodley, a Leeds suburb and quite close to the Ring Road. See HERE for more info.
