Monthly Editing Competition May
Okay, you have till the end of May, to edit this shot any way you see fit, totally up to you.
Please can more people enter than just Patch and myself

Ok, here's my effort. Because the image is almost a two tone or monochrome image I have decided to enhance that aspect, whilst retaining a subtle coloring. I have made the following adjustments:
- Make duplicate layer
- Adjust Hue Saturation & LIghtness to 0 (creating a monochrome image)
- Clone some of the branches on the roof
- Rotate the image to the Left 2 degrees
- Crop image
- Clarify
- Adjust levels
- Unsharp mask
- Go to second Layer
- Change Blend Mode to color
- Merge layers
- Save

What about an Editing competition without using Photoshop Editing Suites. That should really be interesting. There are so many others to choose from.

Don't worry - it wont happen........... you are free to use whatever software you like to do your editing in. You are right Steve - we wouldn't want to exclude anybody on the basis of the software they use

Steve and Jack are right, this competition was originally set up to stretch ourselves in editing a pic, we had some awesome entries in past months, people going mad, and it was wonderful to see where our imaginations took us. Can't find the older posts, but some of the creations were fab!
Unfortunately, people don't seem to enter anymore, well, myself and Patch. But, pleased that two people have entered this month
Can I just say that you can really go mad with the picture posted each month, you can change it in anyway, remove bits, add bits, pop a dragon in there ,castle whatever you like.
Bazza, I know photo editing isn't your thing, but some of us love it! you can enter, you don't need PS etc.
So please, can more people enter, and go bonkers!
