Chaffinch

Mostly cloudy today with a few sunny spells down at Lochwinnoch. So, only managed a few shots today.

1)Chaffinch

Number 1 is great! Are they hovering above feeders for you? I've seen them do it but never had a chance to try shooting!

Thanks.

Yes, I capture them hovering next to feeders at the blind on the reserve.
I usually crop the feeder out if it has been imaged as well.

I'm hoping to get even better shots when the light is more favourable and so, I can use a smaller aperture while keeping a fast shutter speed and low ISO
Chaffinches are the easiest to capture for these type of shots, but you can get tits and other finches hovering too
