including gulls ready to nick your chips

I love the vintage, retro feel to this and the others. Captures the time warp that seaside resorts still have, and I love them for it!
haven't been to Bournemouth for years, and I don't think it has changed, Hooray!

That is full of memories for me too, I worked down there for two summers, two very hot summers remember burning my feet on the pavements and the miles of hot sand. I also remember the smell of the chines and the blissful coolness. I may have somewhere some shots taken then although they would be in B & W as they are older than you are thinking. Thank you for the memories and good luck with the book.

I'm really glad this photo has conjured up happy memories. Knowing this means I've fulfilled my own personal aims for the image.
I've had a professional version of the book printed but had to hand it in for accessment. sad times.

Vignetting apparant, probably due to too many filters or the filters were too thick.

Looks good Dan - certainly has a 70s - esque feel about it I would really like to see some grain added to the shots though - I think it may add to the overall effect x
