bric-a-brac

Just saw this little array of olde implements for sale on the Turkish side of Northern Cyprus and liked the overall image.

Re: bric-a-brac

Look at the garden spade and fork! I would have bought a few things just for the photo ops Nice shot.

Re: bric-a-brac

Some lovely textures in there and a nice warm feel to it too.

The wide angle works well in fact the effect it has on the paving slabs makes me feel slightly dizzy.

I think the spade is a cooking utensil ?? - for putting bread perhaps into a large oven ?

Which camera is your Sigma 10-20 for ? Canon or Nikon ?

Re: bric-a-brac

Thanks both. The 'spade' is as Phil says, a pitta spade - a 'spade' for putting bread in an outdoor clay oven, and taking it out when cooked.

The 10-20 is on my Nikon D300 Phil.

Re: bric-a-brac

Must admit I do like this type of image. Each time you look at it one can identify another interesting little thing within the image.

I do think it would benefit from having the half a blue sign cloned out but I would definitely eave the red sign in as I think it adds something to the image.

Good 'un Jack
