Otters at Loch Sunart
The early part of last week was great weather and we saw plenty of otters with fish and crabs both in calm 'mirror' water as well as on the rocks. I was itching to get the camera gear out but being a family holiday I'd put some time aside for later in the week.
So there I was on Thursday and Friday soaked to the skin, sheltering behind a rock beneath an overhanging tree for hours, camera wrapped in a plastic bag cursing and swearing
The light (not to mention my will) was all but gone as had my ISO limit and resulting shutter speeds when a couple of otters came to check me out.
I've still loads to go through but I'm frustrated with the first batch knowing what I'd missed but that's the way it goes sometimes.

I want to go there!!!!!! nice shots Phil. Love the last two.
I have been to Balgavies Loch at the back of Forfar to photograph the Otters
but have spent hours and hours and not seen a thing, but the other photographers in the hide have loads of photos of the Otters.
Must be my aftershave.......
If it was not for bad luck i would have no luck at all........
