Thanks Azz. Just a shame its not that sharp. A handheld shot as my pod decided to fall apart a couple of days ago. Might have to start working on taking several images also and then stacking them to help improve images.

Stacking multiple shots of shallow dof is certainly an option if you haven't got the steadiness or light to use smaller apertures for a single shot of increased dof.

They are creepy looking things when seen up close, the shape of their bodies making them look quite alien like. One thing i always work on when doing macro is getting good focus in on the eyes, to me it makes the image. Image 1 is not perfect but i was still happy how it turned out
Stacking is something i will look into, i have seen some stunning results from people who use Zerene Stacker. Its not a free program though ...Its all good practice though and my macro photography is gradually improving shooting handheld. So its small steps in the right direction
