Witley Court and the magnificent Perseus and Andromeda Fountain.

Went to Witley Court today, first time since they reopened the fantastic Perseus and Andromeda Fountain. its a lovely place, steeped in history and superb architecture. The photos were not particularly well thought out, more of a memento of the place, but I hope you enjoy them anyway. Weather and cloud was variable to say the least. There is also a link to a 10 second video of the fountain at full tilt.

Re: Witley Court and the magnificent Perseus and Andromeda Fountain.

Now, this is what I miss about England, really, really old buildings, with magnificent architecture, and history.

The fountain is stunning, love the close ups, and the composition of no7 is great.

Thanks for sharing xx

Re: Witley Court and the magnificent Perseus and Andromeda Fountain.

Its so easy to forget the history, culture and the beauty of English architecture we have right on our door step. I think you have captured it very well Dawn..

...One thing is missing in the culture department though... The mouthy chavs should be sticking their middle fingers up in the background! LOL
