New Lensbaby products

Not sure why I am posting this on here, as I think I am only Lensbaby addict on here, but they have brought out some new products. A tilt transformer for Micro 4/3 cameras, so they can turn any lens into a tilt lens.

Also, a new static, no tilt lens called Scout, it comes with a fisheye optic, but can interchange with any optics you might have from the range. Also, great for people that find bending the normal lenses into a sweet spot hard, as you just have to turn a conventional focus ring with this lens. Will definitely be getting one, as soon as I can afford it.

Recently bought the Soft Focus Optic, and tried it out for the first time the other night in the dark. I know, it's an acquired taste, and goes against what you normally strive for, but I love the whole feel of Lensbaby pics

Re: New Lensbaby products

I used Canon tilt/shift (TS-E) lenses a while back and really enjoyed them. we used them for architectural stuff (maintaining verticals) where I used to work.

If LB did a reasonable alternative to Canon's expensive offerings then it might be something I'd have a look at.
Kit 1
Canon 1D Mark 3
Canon EF 17-40mm f/4 L USM
Canon EF 24-105mm f/4 L IS USM
Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 L IS USM
Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II
Kit 2
1D2 & 40D

Re: New Lensbaby products

I understand what you are saying, I like the creative aspect of using them, and the results can be very unpredictable, but that doesn't bother me. I wouldn't pay a huge amount for a lens like this, as I use it when the mood strikes me, and I have time to play. It's the quirkiness that attracts me , I would like to get the full set of optics, eventually.
