Canon Beach - Haystack Rock

A return to Canon Beach yielded this photograph. I like it! I've attempted to straighten out the horizon after Azz & Little Me caught the problem.

What a fabulous beach ad a photo to be proud of.

Since I hear this a lot I used a grid leveling technique to straighten this photo already. It's deceptive because of the different planes, the water, the beach & the mountains. I leveled using the water.

Re: Canon Beach - Haystack Rock

Sorry Bob - I didn't mean to cause you offence.
I personally post photos hoping people will tell me what I can improve so that I can get better, so I try and do that for others.
At the end of the day it is all a matter of personal preference I happen to prefer level horizons so thats what I commented on.
Overall I think your picture is great though.

Understand I'm not taking offense & covet your input. I have a problem leveling such shots.

Re: Canon Beach - Haystack Rock

It's a fab shot, lovely looking beach.

The right hand side the water horizon is slightly lower, think Azz has the level about spot on, but doesn't detract from a fab shot xxx

Re: Canon Beach - Haystack Rock

Who cares really about the water level? I would just pull out the plug instead.
