Isle of May

Various bird shots taken on our trip to the isle of May recently. Some shots taken from the boat as well. My first thought when we arrived back in Anstruther was "Awsome", Maria agreed, so we will go back again soon

1)Anstruther harbour, taken from the boat just before we left for the island.

I don't really do 'birds' as such, but as always, these look fantastic, crystal clear and vibrant colours...can only imagine the birds in flight require a well practised technique to get the timing and exposure spot on.

Great stuff Grant - love the 'happy dance' in numer 8

Did you get to see the gannets diving ?

Hope you sampled the famous fish and chips whilst you were at Anstruther.

Loving all the Puffin shots,one of my fave birds Especially the happy stomp in 8, and TBH I love all the Puffin shots Wonderful set DJ

Thanks Phil. We only seen Gannets from the boat flying past but none diving.
The fish n chip shop was queued out to the street so we went to another cafe and got a lovely baked potatoe with cheese, coleslaw and salad mmmm.
