Axel outdoors.... *pic heavy* (and other shots)

....let the posing begin!

Took Axel out yesterday and found some lovely scenery to practice some shots, even found a secluded secure spot to get him nekkid and get some shots I'm happy with

I think he's a handsome devil, really enjoying his modelling shoot (the nekkid ones only took a minute or 2, his coat went straight back on after as it was a little nippy!)

The lighting was really on our side

Let's just say I'm very happy with my camera and excited to take even more pictures, oh yeah, and of my baby too!

Now for the non-Axel shots....

Some lovely shots, really nice. As a beginner who has only had a Nikon like yours for 10 days I'll offer no other comments.

Mel
You have acheived some really nice Bokeh (background blurring) on those shots. It would be interesting to know which of the two kit lenses you were using on the day.
Kit 1
Canon EOS 650D
EFS 18-55 IS II
EFS 55-250 IS II
EF 50mm 1.8
Kit 2
Lumix FZ-28 (not quite an SLR but more versatile)

Thanks I was so excited to finally have some blurring! I was using the 55-200mm and was stood a fair bit back and zoomed in for most of them.

Re: Axel outdoors.... *pic heavy* (and other shots)

I like the first two portraits of Axel, as was said earlier they have a lovely soft background.

A great shot of Hubby too.

To top it of, you have captured some of the lovely Autumn sun light and colours as well.

Re: Axel outdoors.... *pic heavy* (and other shots)

Some great shots there, only thing I would really say is I would change the the white balance for the pics of axel as it did come out a tad too blue, but the rest are great!
